Special Opening Act! Lower Columbia College's Bella Voce Choir

m-pact is respected worldwide as a trailblazer in the realm of vocal music. Emerging from an age of auto-tune and overproduction, this Los Angeles based ensemble has cultivated a new generation of ears hungry for the fresh, raw power of “nature’s first” instrument – the human voice.  Touring renowned fine arts halls and jazz festivals across four continents, m-pact has performed with pop superstars Sheryl Crow, Boys II to Men, Ray Charles, the Woody Herman Orchestra, and Natalie Cole. The group has garnered vast accolades from Vocal Group of the Year (LA Music Awards), Artist of the Year (Seattle Music Awards), an Indie nomination (The Independent Grammy), to Billboard Magazine’s “Best Unsigned Band”  Ears of all ages will be enriched by their performance.

Bella Voce is LCC's premiere auditioned chamber group, which performs specialty events throughout the year with a focus on a cappella repertoire. Directed by Gina Challed and accompanied by Janae Pickett. This group is thrilled to have the opportunity to open for MPACT at the Columbia Theatre.
