Holiday Tree Lighting at the Civic Circle
This is in conjunction with the Christmas parade. The parade begins at 5:00 pm running down commerce ave, Maple, 14th, Broadway, and backwards arond the Civic Circle. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in their sleigh in front of the Monticello Hotel, as the choir sings the big man himself turns on the lights with a little Christmas magic. Kids sit on Santa's lap for a little order placing while the elves hand out glow braclets Altrusa will be handing out hot cocoa.
