Color Our World – Join the Summer Reading Fun at the Longview Public Library!

Get ready to add a splash of creativity to your summer! The Longview Public Library is excited to kick off our annual Summer Reading Program, themed "Color Our World." Whether you're a tiny tot or a seasoned reader, this program is packed with books, events, and activities to spark your imagination and celebrate the beauty of art in all its forms!

Program Highlights:

• Reading Challenge – Track your progress on Beanstack, earn badges and prizes, and challenge yourself to read 10, 20, or 30 minutes a day. Start logging your days from June 13th to August 9th, and at various reading milestones, you’ll earn a prize!
• Interactive Fun – Join us for storytimes, music group visits, movies, art displays, and so much more. There’s something exciting for every age! Check our schedule of events.
• Creative Activities – From sidewalk chalk contests and messy art day to sewing classes, this is your chance to let your creativity run wild.
• Prizes Galore – Hit your reading goals and celebrate with prizes along the way. Reach 30 days of reading and you’ll earn a special Finisher Prize!
• Tie-Dye Kickoff – Join us June 13th & 14th for a tie-dye extravaganza to launch the fun!
