About the Job
Fosterful is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Case Aide to join our team. This role is crucial in providing trauma-informed support to children and caregivers within the foster care system. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, solution-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of foster families. As a Case Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support, aligned with our mission and values.
Responsibilities

Provide on-the-ground support to children and caregivers in the foster care system, including transportation, child care, engaging in enrichment activities and more.

Assist in developing and implementing holistic and customized care plans.

Transport children safely using personal vehicle.

Maintain clear and open communication with team members and foster families.

Document interactions and case details accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and empathetic service delivery.
Requirements

Enjoy working with children of all ages and managing challenging behaviors.

Adapt quickly to changing situations and be solution-oriented.

Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Pass criminal and child welfare background checks.

Exhibit excellent documentation and communication skills.

Benefits
Some evening work will be required for events and to meet the needs of families on their caseloads. Flex time may be used when the case aide works outside of their regularly scheduled hours. This position is primarly performed in the field. When the Case Aide is not in the field working with clients, they will be in the office. Cowlitz/Skamania/Whakiakum County employees will occasionally be permitted to work from home.
